Steve Daines

Running for Senator from Montana

Game Changer PAC supports Steve in his quest to win former Senator Max Baucus’ Senate seat in Montana.  Baucus, who accepted an Obama appointment as Ambassador to China rather than face the voters of Montana this election cycle, abandoned the state of Montana, and its interests, over the debacle known as Obamacare.

A fifth-generation Montanan, Steve David Daines was raised in Bozeman and brings more than twenty-five years of private-sector business experience to Washington, D.C. as he currently serves the people of Montana as the state’s Congressman.

Steve’s parents grew up in Billings.  After graduating from Billings Senior High, Steve’s dad enlisted in the Marines and later graduated from the University of Montana with a business degree.  In 1964, Steve’s parents moved to Bozeman and started a home construction business.

After attending public schools in Bozeman, Steve worked his way through college at Montana State University – Bozeman and graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.  He spent thirteen years in a management role for Procter & Gamble, and then returned to Bozeman in 1997 to work with his parents in the family’s construction business.

In 2000, Steve took on the role of VP of Customer Service for Right Now Technologies, a Bozeman-based start-up company that had around 100 employees at the time. The company grew rapidly and today is a publicly traded software company that employs more than 1,000 people—making it the largest commercial employer in Bozeman.

The holder of a baccalaureate degree in science, a customer service expert, and has already proven to be an effective representative for the people of Montana… Who wouldn’t endorse him?
